About these terms

This website is operated by thisisbrand, a South African branding business that makes NFC cards, outdoor branding, exhibition stands, custom clothing, out of home media, gifting and fan zone goods, and builds websites. In this policy and these terms, we, us and our mean thisisbrand.

By using this website or requesting a quote you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Using the website

• Use the site for lawful purposes only.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems.
• Information on the site is provided in good faith and is general in nature. We may change or remove content at any time.

Quotes and orders

Products are made to order and priced per job. Prices shown on the site as "From" are starting prices in South African Rand and are a guide only. A price is binding only when it appears in a written quote from us and you accept it. Each quote states how long it stays valid and what it includes.

Delivery and installation dates are estimates unless we confirm a date in writing. Please tell us about any event date when you request a quote.

Artwork and approvals

• You must own, or have permission to use, all logos, images, text and designs you send us.
• You are responsible for any claim that artwork you supplied infringes someone else's rights.
• We manufacture to the artwork and proof you approve. Please check proofs carefully, because approved errors are not our responsibility.
• Colours can differ slightly between a screen proof and the finished product, depending on the material and process.

Cancellations and returns

Because products are custom made to your artwork, an order usually cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started, unless the goods are defective or not what we agreed. This does not limit any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Product images

Product visuals on this website are stock photographs and illustrations used as stand ins until thisisbrand product photography is available. The finished item is made to the quote and artwork you approve and may look different from the image shown.

Intellectual property

The website design, text and thisisbrand name and marks belong to us or our licensors. Your artwork stays yours. You give us permission to reproduce it for the purpose of making your order and, if you agree, to show the finished work in our portfolio.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the website is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Links to other websites are for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
